Who can sign up as a security officer?
Any PLRD-licensed security officer in Singapore who is a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident with a Singpass account. Your identity and licence are checked through Singpass MyInfo when you sign up. Officers aged 60 and above also need to upload a valid medical certificate confirming fitness for duty, as PLRD requires.
How quickly can an agency fill a shift?
A shift is visible to licensed officers as soon as you post it, and officers accept it straight from the app. How quickly it fills depends on the location, the hours and the rate you offer.
How and when do officers get paid?
Pay for completed shifts is settled in a payout run every Monday and recorded in your GuardLink wallet, so you can see what you've earned for each shift. If Monday is a public holiday, the run moves to the next working day.
How does GuardLink handle PLRD compliance?
Every officer's PLRD licence is checked at sign-up. Agencies can see the officer's NRIC/FIN in the booking so they can submit the PLRD notification before the shift, and each booking keeps a record of check-ins and payments.
Is my personal data safe?
Personal data, including Singpass MyInfo data, is stored and encrypted on Google Cloud in Singapore. GuardLink handles it under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and never sells it. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
